Fishing

Our cold, clear waters make for ideal fishing and fly fishing in the White Mountains. Whether you toss your line in the waters of the Ammoonoosuc River, Profile Lake, or one of the many bodies of water with roadside and backcountry access, you will not be disappointed! Our lakes, rivers and streams offer a large variety of fish including trout, bass, pickerel, and perch.

Fly Fishing

Experience fly fishing at Bretton Woods, one of New Hampshire’s most scenic and pristine fly fishing destinations. Take a casting lesson, reserve a spot on one of their guided tours. Rental equipment is available daily through early October. For more information on fly fishing at Bretton Woods, click here.

Fishing Licenses

Anglers 16 and older are required to have a fishing license in New Hampshire. Both resident and non-resident licenses are readily available online through the NH Fish and Game website. You can also purchase a license with one of their License Agents.
